Tic Tac Toe is a classic strategy game that you can play against the computer, with a friend on the same device, or with a friend over Bluetooth. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data. In short: the app collects no personal data, contains no ads, requires no account, and has no internet access.
2. No Data Collection
Tic Tac Toe does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app does not request internet permission, which means it is technically incapable of sending any data to our servers or to third parties. Game scores and settings exist only in memory while the app is open and are discarded when the app is closed. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising SDKs in the app.
3. Bluetooth Multiplayer
The optional Bluetooth multiplayer mode connects two devices directly to each other. During a match, only game data (moves and game state) and your device's Bluetooth name are exchanged between the two devices. This exchange happens directly over Bluetooth and never passes through any server. While hosting a game, the app temporarily adds a short prefix ('TTT:') to your device's Bluetooth name so other players can find you; the original name is restored afterwards. No multiplayer data is recorded or kept after the match ends.
4. Permissions
The app requests the following permissions, all used exclusively for the optional Bluetooth multiplayer mode:
- Bluetooth (scan, connect, advertise) — to discover nearby players, connect, and be discoverable.
- Location — required by the Android system to perform Bluetooth device discovery on Android 11 and below. The app never reads, stores, or transmits your actual geographic location.
If you only play against the computer or with a friend on the same device, none of these permissions are used.
5. Children's Privacy
Tic Tac Toe does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no chat features, and no external links to content inappropriate for children.
6. Third-Party Content
Sound effects used in the app are sourced from Mixkit (mixkit.co). These are bundled audio files only; no third-party service is contacted by the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
