My Vehicles is an Android app for managing your personal garage, including fuel records, service records, vehicle issues, documents, and reminders. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when you use the app.
2. Vehicle and Document Data
All vehicle information you enter — fuel records, service records, issues, reminders, and document files such as registration, ownership card, or insurance photos/files — is processed and stored entirely on your device. The app does not upload this data to any developer server.
3. Local Storage
The app stores data locally on your device: vehicles, fuel and service records, reminders, and issues are kept in a local SQLite database, while uploaded documents are saved in the app's local storage folder. App preferences such as language and currency are stored in SharedPreferences. None of this data leaves your device.
4. Data Collection and Sharing
My Vehicles does not require account registration and does not intentionally collect personal information. The app does not share your personal data with the developer or any third party.
5. Permissions
The app uses the following Android permissions:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to show reminder and alarm notifications
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — to ring reminders exactly at the scheduled time
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to restore scheduled reminders after the device restarts
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK — to play the alarm sound reliably when a reminder is due
- WAKE_LOCK, VIBRATE, and USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT — to wake the screen and alert the user when a reminder alarm rings
- Storage/file access via the system file picker — to let you select and upload document photos or files for your vehicles
6. Children's Privacy
The app is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
