Market Board ID does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. The extension fetches market price data (gold, forex, fuel, electricity, BPJS, cryptocurrency) from the developer's API server solely for display purposes. No user data, browsing history, or personal information is ever sent to any server.
2. Data Caching
Fetched market data is cached locally in your browser's storage (chrome.storage.local) for up to 10 minutes to reduce server load and improve performance. This cache contains only market price data — no personal or user-identifying information.
3. Network Requests
The extension makes network requests only to its designated API server to retrieve market price data. No requests are made to third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The API server address is included in the extension's host_permissions and is disclosed in the manifest.
4. No Third-Party Services
Market Board ID does not use any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking services. All external requests are limited to the official Market Board ID API for price data retrieval.
5. Permissions
The extension requests 'tabs' permission (to open external links like CoinMarketCap when clicking crypto cards) and 'storage' permission (to cache market data and save user preferences such as auto-refresh state and selected province). No sensitive permissions are requested.
